GE Water (now SUEZ)
About
GE Water, acquired by SUEZ in 2017 and subsequently integrated into Veolia Water Technologies following Veolia’s 2021–2022 acquisition of SUEZ, now operates under the Veolia Water Technologies brand. The combined portfolio’s centerpiece is the ZeeWeed ultrafiltration membrane family, with over one million membranes deployed worldwide. ZeeWeed 500D features reinforced PVDF hollow fibers rated at 600N tensile strength for high-solids wastewater applications. ZeeWeed 1000 is a vacuum-driven, energy-efficient UF membrane optimized for large-scale municipal drinking water and tertiary filtration. ZeeWeed 700B uses a proprietary SevenBore inside-out hollow-fiber design for seawater RO pretreatment and low-solids applications, with over 1,200 MLD operating since 2005. ZeeWeed 1500 is an outside-in pressurized UF element available with the Rackless Module System (RMS), which reduces rack costs by 75% and footprint by 50%. Packaged systems include Z-MOD (S, M, L) MBR systems and Z-BOX (S, M, L) plus Z-PAK R containerized UF units. The recently launched Cella biofilm technology provides sustainable biological wastewater treatment. Other integrated brands include AnoxKaldnes (MBBR), Biothane (anaerobic), ELGA (lab water), EVALED (evaporation), and Hydrotech (microscreen filtration). Markets span municipal drinking water, wastewater, industrial process water, seawater desalination, and water reuse.
