Fontana R, s.r.o.
About
Fontana R, s.r.o. produces mechanical equipment for wastewater treatment plants at its own factory complex in Ricany u Brna, Czech Republic. Established in 1990 and ISO 9001 certified since 2000, the company has shipped more than 9,500 units to over 40 countries in Europe and North America, and custom-engineered work - roughly 80 percent of orders - is processed within 48 hours. Six product families make up the range: pre-treatment screens in self-cleaning, screw, coarse, fine, and hand-raked configurations; grit separation and washing plant; micro-strainer filters for tertiary polishing; screenings presses and conveyors; gates for flow regulation; and sludge transport and lime hygienisation systems. Notable models include the SCC-H self-cleaning screen, the SCCLS screen-press combination, SVS cylinder strainers, and MFO/MFB micro-strainers, the latter available with integrated UV disinfection.
Key Products
Captures and transports screenings via counterflow system from channel bottom to discharge hopper without water washing
Compact device combining self-cleaning screen and small press to collect, separate, wash, and dewater screenings in one unit
Bar grating mounted in open canals that obstructs floating and drifting solids; screenings removed manually by hand rake
Top-raked bar screens with varied mesh sizes designed for smaller WWTPs with flow rates up to 60 l/s
Robust frame with rear steel grate; moving scrapers remove captured screenings; installed downstream of grit traps
Robust steel frame with front wiped grid; installed behind gravel traps before fine screens for coarse pre-treatment
Chain-driven fine filtration screen used in power plants, heating plants, and raw water treatment applications
Collects, transports, and dewaters screenings in WWTP inlet canals; optional heating unit for outdoor installation
Collects heavy undissolved substances at WWTP inlets to protect downstream pumps and equipment
Continuous separation of suspended solids up to 60 mm using perforated or slot sieve elements; SVSLS variant includes integrated press
Rotary drum filtration for fine screening of wastewater
Combined coarse screening units for compact WWTP headworks in standard, intermediate, and economy configurations
Mechanical equipment for vertical and vortex sand traps to separate grit from wastewater
Separates grit from wastewater flow
Combines grit separation with washing to reduce organic content in separated grit
Washes separated grit to remove organic matter for cleaner disposal
Separates and processes contents from gully emptying vehicles
Tertiary filtration using micro-strainer technology for fine solids removal in advanced wastewater treatment
Combined micro-strainer filtration and UV disinfection for tertiary treatment
Compact micro-strainer filter unit for tertiary wastewater treatment
Belt filtration system for tertiary solids removal
Transports screenings along the treatment process via screw mechanism
Presses and washes screenings to reduce volume and organic content for disposal
Hydraulic pressing and washing of screenings for volume reduction
Regulates flow rate and water passage through WWTP channels and basins
Removable barrier plates for isolating flow channels during maintenance
Transports dewatered sludge from press or centrifuge discharge to storage or disposal
Rail-based container transport system for moving dewatered sludge containers
Lime stabilization system that hygienises sludge for safe agricultural reuse or disposal
Cleans overflow weirs and edges in clarifiers and settlement tanks
Cleans and heats scraper running tracks to maintain operation in cold conditions
