Flow-Tronic S.A./N.V., founded in 1989 and based in Welkenraedt, Belgium, manufactures flow measurement instrumentation for wastewater, open channel, and full-pipe applications with ISO 9001:2015 certification and ATEX approval. With over two decades of experience and installations across more than 50 countries, all products are 100% designed and manufactured in Belgium. The company's flagship RAVEN-EYE 2+ is a non-contact radar area/velocity flowmeter that measures from above the water surface with self-learning velocity analysis and IP68 protection, available in a standard model and an ATEX-certified variant (RAVEN-EYE ATEX) for explosive atmospheres. For full-pipe applications, the TORPEE-MAG electromagnetic insertion flowmeter uses multiple electrodes to provide accurate averaging velocity across the full pipe cross-section. The BELUGA A/V combines ultrasonic Doppler technology with an integrated level sensor for simultaneous area and velocity measurement in open channels, while the standalone BELUGA provides Doppler velocity sensing. The EMV-500 electromagnetic velocity sensor covers pipes and channels from 150 mm to 2000 mm with grease-shedding electrodes and an ATEX version for hazardous environments. Flow-Tronic's HYBRID SYSTEM merges RAVEN-EYE radar and BELUGA ultrasonic technologies through UNI-TRANS hybrid algorithms to deliver continuous measurement even during surcharge conditions. For natural watercourses, the PHOENIX 2 non-contact radar flowmeter monitors rivers and streams. The PELICAN portable electromagnetic velocity meter serves spot-check measurements, while the IFQ Logger 2 (launched 2025) and IFQ Monitor 2 provide flow data logging and continuous monitoring respectively. The TMC-20 and TMC-15 serve as monitoring and communication controllers, and the Flo-Sonic OCFM uses ultrasonic transit-time technology with up to 16 measurement paths for complex open-channel applications including wastewater treatment plant inlets and discharge monitoring, sewer network CSO studies, industrial process water, and hydropower.
