Fibracast Ltd is a Canadian ultrafiltration membrane bioreactor (MBR) specialist manufacturing the FibrePlate Fusion membrane, a hybrid design that merges hollow fiber and flat plate UF technologies into a single module. The FibrePlate platform delivers higher packing density than conventional membranes, enabling 5 MGD capacity in a significantly smaller footprint with lower energy demand per gallon treated. The modules use innovative hydraulics and dual scouring technology to mitigate common MBR failure modes including fiber breakage, sludging, and excessive cleaning cycles.
