FB Procedes S.A.S., founded in 1985 in France, is a specialized manufacturer of automatic bar screens and complementary screening equipment for water and wastewater pretreatment. With approximately 25 employees, the company has installed over 6,700 bar screens across more than 30 countries serving over 500 clients worldwide. FB Procedes offers five distinct bar screen models: the PROSTEP fine step screen handling flows up to 1,000 m3/h with bar spacing from 2 to 6 mm and widths of 300-2,000 mm; the SI350 compact inclined bar screen at 350 mm fixed width for flows up to 50 m3/h, designed as a replacement for manual screens in small installations; the SG400 vertical bar screen at 400 mm width for flows up to 120 m3/h, suited for pumping stations; the NG vertical bar screen scaling up to 6,000 m3/h with widths to 2,000 mm for medium and large-capacity structures; and the XG custom vertical bar screen with bar spacing from 3 to 60 mm, widths from 450 to 2,000 mm, and depths up to 17,000 mm for severe-condition and high-flow applications. Complementary equipment includes the VTP screw conveyor for screenings transport, the VCP screw compactor that integrates directly with FB Procedes bar screens, and the PROPRESS wash press that reduces screenings volume and weight through washing and compaction. The company also manufactures the PROMEL drum screen and rotary distributors for trickling filters, providing a complete pretreatment equipment line from influent screening through compaction.
