FAN Separator GmbH, based in Marktschorgast in Upper Franconia, Germany and part of the Austrian Bauer Group since 2004, is a leading manufacturer of press screw separation technology with approximately 12,000 systems installed worldwide. The company produces separation, dewatering, and pumping equipment for nine industry sectors: agriculture, biogas, municipal wastewater, food processing, slaughterhouses, pulp and paper, MDF manufacturing, and plastic recycling. The core PSS press screw separator line includes the PSS 3.3-780 and PSS 5-520 standard models, the newly introduced PSS 8 for higher capacities, and the PSS Plug & Play and PSS Green Bedding configurations for quick deployment and animal bedding production respectively. The Sludge Press Separator SPS provides dedicated sludge dewatering, while the Zentrifuge CCS offers centrifugal solid-liquid separation. The Bedding Recovery Unit (BRU) uses drum-based technology to convert separated manure solids into hygienic animal bedding. Beyond separation, FAN manufactures Magnum ESPH and CSPH submersible motor pumps for slurry and wastewater transport, TMRW submersible motor agitators for digester and tank mixing, and the Rejekt-Presse PRP for pulp and paper fiber recovery.
