Exiteck GmbH, founded in 2020 and based in Kirchheim unter Teck, Germany, develops and manufactures advanced excimer and UV technology solutions for disinfection, surface modification, and environmental engineering. The company was established by two founders with decades of prior experience at renowned UV technology firms and focuses on three core application areas. In environmental technology, Exiteck employs xenon excimer lamps that generate ozone from ambient air at 7.2 eV photon energy, enabling photo-oxidative treatment of industrial exhaust air at flows exceeding 100,000 m3 per hour, targeting odor-intensive and difficult-to-treat emissions from agriculture, food processing, and chemical production through Advanced Oxidation Processes (AOPs) that combine ozone and UV radiation to break down pollutants like benzene. In air disinfection, the TeckTower 400 device provides UVC-based room air purification for 20 to 50 m2 spaces, reducing bacteria and viruses by over 99% (up to 99.9% for coronaviruses) at only 35 dB(A), with nominal throughput of 400 m3/h and event mode at 575 m3/h, verified by the University of Stuttgart. The company also applies its high-energy UV technology to surface modification for industrial production and to photo-oxidative treatment of municipal and industrial wastewater. Exiteck serves markets across Europe, North America, and Asia.
