About

Environetics, Inc., based in Lockport, Illinois, designs, patents, and manufactures environmental control products that address liquid pollution problems in industrial and municipal water and wastewater treatment applications. The company's flagship Director I Floating Baffle System uses Seaman Corporation XR-5 8130 geomembrane fabric (30 mil) rated to -30°F standard, with an ultra-low temperature XR-5 8130 ULT variant rated to -50°F for arctic installations. Director I baffles feature flow-through windows sized at one square foot per 30 GPM of peak flow, 6,400-lb breaking-strength cables, continuous hot-dip galvanized chain bottom ballast, and lateral wind anchors at 100-foot intervals. The Director II Tank Baffle System provides fixed flow diversion panels for circular or rectangular tanks, offering flow over, flow under, flow around, or flow-through window configurations with stainless steel support structures and expansion anchor bolt attachment. Director II baffles create aeration zones, anoxic zones, chlorine contact chambers, and mixing or clarification areas within existing tanks. Both systems carry Seaman Corporation's 10-year weathering and chemical resistance warranty and have demonstrated over 30 years of material service life without failure under normal conditions. Environetics also manufactures clearwell baffles that eliminate short-circuiting and increase retention time, plus tank covers for enclosing new or existing tank systems. Lead time is six to eight weeks from approved submittals.
