ELIQUO WATER GROUP GmbH, based in Germany, consolidates the European municipal water and wastewater technology activities of SKion Water GmbH. With over 850 employees across five subsidiary companies—ELIQUO KGSTULZ and ELIQUO TECHNOLOGIES (Germany), ELIQUO HYDROK (UK), ELIQUO WATER & ENERGY (Netherlands), and ELIQUO PMI (Norway)—the group delivers turnkey treatment solutions from process design through commissioning and aftermarket support. Recent additions include inuwat AG (February 2026) and Malmberg Water (September 2024). The group’s technology portfolio is anchored by two proprietary platforms. ELOVAC®, now marking ten years of deployment, is a modular vacuum degassing system for digested sludge available in ELOVAC® and ELOVAC®-P variants; the latter adds simultaneous phosphate precipitation via controlled struvite formation, improving dewatering by over 5 percentage units and reducing disposal costs by approximately 20%. ELODRY® is a low-temperature sludge drying system designed for energy-efficient moisture reduction, with installations including the Loganholme Wastewater Treatment Plant in Australia—the group’s third such unit—and a new contract at a Czech Republic wastewater treatment plant. ELIQUO’s modular, standardized plant concepts enable high off-site prefabrication, shortening project timelines. A new ELOVAC® demonstration plant is being presented at IFAT 2026. The group’s reference projects include RWZI Amersfoort (Netherlands) and Kläranlage Vörbach in Waldachtal (Germany), which targets climate-neutral operations. ELIQUO focuses on high energy efficiency, low maintenance requirements, and ease of operation across its solutions, with particular emphasis on sludge treatment innovation, phosphorus recovery, and micro-pollutant removal.
