ELIQUO MALMBERG WATER
About
Eliquo Malmberg Water, based in Åhus, Sweden, is the country’s leading contractor for process and machine design in drinking water and wastewater treatment. A member of the Eliquo Water Group and SKion Water, the company combines Scandinavian engineering tradition with modern circular-economy technology. Its two flagship technologies are Triton® and ELOVAC®. Triton® is a stainless steel filter bottom system for filter basins that uses Johnson Screens’ patented Vee-Wire® slot technology in U-shaped cartridges, increasing the active filtration area by 110–120% over conventional nozzle systems. Available in AISI 304L or 316L stainless steel with a standard 0.3 mm slot opening, Triton eliminates the need for support gravel layers and supports all common filter media including sand, activated carbon, and anthracite. ELOVAC® is a modular vacuum degassing system for digested sludge, available in two versions: ELOVAC® for methane and CO₂ extraction, and ELOVAC®-P which adds simultaneous phosphate precipitation via controlled struvite formation. The ELOVAC® range comes in three sizes (ELOVAC 20, 30, and 40) handling 5–40 m³/h of sludge flow for plants serving up to 750,000 PE. ELOVAC®-P achieves over 5 percentage units improvement in sludge dewatering, approximately 20% reduction in disposal costs, and reduces struvite scaling downstream. Reference projects include the Sjölunda ARV in Malmö and the Henriksdal wastewater treatment plant in Stockholm. The company delivers complete plants from process design through commissioning and aftermarket support.
