Emile Egger & Cie SA is an independent Swiss family-owned company that has designed and manufactured centrifugal pumps and regulating slide valves at its headquarters in Cressier, Neuchâtel since 1947. Their proprietary Turo vortex pump technology uses a recessed impeller design that creates a vortex in the pump casing, allowing media with high solids content to pass through without contacting the impeller, reducing clogging and wear. The product line includes Turo Freistrom-Pumpen T Series standard vortex pumps, Turo TA Series vortex pumps specifically engineered for raw wastewater with high solids loading, Prozess-Pumpen EO and EOS for chemical process applications, Abwasserpumpen EOA and EOSA for dedicated wastewater duty, and Hybrid-Pumpen TEO combining vortex and centrifugal principles.
