ECO-H2O
About
ECO-H2O SAS is a French manufacturer of eco-designed residential and light commercial water treatment systems, founded in 2004 and based in Saze, near Avignon. The company designs, engineers, and assembles all products in-house at its integrated R&D and production facility, sourcing primarily from specialized French suppliers. ECO-H2O's flagship product is the EcoCrystal 2 salt-free anti-scale water softener, which converts hard calcite into non-adherent aragonite crystals using a filtration bed of volcanic rock from Auvergne, activated carbon, and KDF media, followed by triple-vortex dynamization. The system operates without salt, electricity, chemicals, or wastewater discharge, and filter spheres are replaced every 100 cubic meters or 2 years. Since 2017, ECO-H2O has operated a deposit-return program for filter spheres—claimed to be unique in the water treatment sector—where used spheres are reconditioned in French workshops and reused. The second flagship, the Dynam'Eco under-sink purifier, features a stainless-steel filter holder with a rechargeable cartridge system using KDF and super-activated carbon combined with triple-vortex dynamization. It removes chlorine, pesticides, heavy metals, PFAS, pharmaceutical residues, and nitrates (MAX version) while preserving essential minerals, installing in approximately 5 minutes without an additional faucet. The company also offers ultrafiltration-based potabilization systems for well, borehole, or spring water. ECO-H2O holds La French Fab certification and is a 1% for the Planet supporter.
