Eaton Corporation, headquartered in Dublin, Ireland with US operational headquarters in Tinton Falls, New Jersey, is a diversified power management company whose Filtration Solutions division produces a comprehensive range of automatic self-cleaning filters, backwashing tubular filters, and pipeline strainers for industrial and municipal applications. The MCS 1500 is a high-flow magnetically coupled strainer rated up to 1,500 gpm (340 cubic meters per hour) with filtration from 150 to 1,100 microns, featuring a magnetically coupled actuator that eliminates dynamic seals for leak-free operation on 8-inch flanged connections at 30 to 150 psi. The DCF Series (DCF 400, 800, 1600) are mechanically cleaned filters handling 2 to 180 gpm with filtration from 15 microns to quarter-inch perforations, operating at up to 300 psi and 350 degrees Fahrenheit with stainless steel screens and UHMWPE, urethane, Teflon, or Kynar cleaning discs. The AFR-Series industrial self-cleaning backwashing tubular filters achieve flow rates up to 3,000 gpm with retention down to 2 microns in a compact one-square-meter footprint, configurable with two to eight body tubes (4-inch or 6-inch) surrounding a central cleaning valve, rated at 250 psi. The F-Series backwashing filter offers two to 24 body tubes with flow rates up to 681 cubic meters per hour. The Model 50 is a plug-type duplex basket strainer available in 5 to 8-inch sizes. Eaton also engineers proprietary 3-way full-ported ball valves designed specifically for their backwash filtration systems. Construction materials span 316 stainless steel, carbon steel, cast iron, bronze, and Monel. Water and wastewater applications include sewage treatment plants, city water lines, hydraulic fracturing water reuse, chiller water, and marine filtration.
