EasyMining, a subsidiary of Ragn-Sells Group, develops and commercializes patented chemical processes that recover valuable nutrients and salts from waste streams, turning disposal liabilities into marketable products. With offices in Uppsala and Gothenburg, Sweden, and Berlin, Germany, the company operates at the intersection of wastewater treatment, waste incineration, and circular economy chemistry. Its three core technologies each target a different waste stream. Ash2Phos recovers phosphorus from incinerated sewage sludge ash at over 90% recovery rates, producing RevoCaP™—a high-purity calcium phosphate suitable for fertilizer and animal feed—along with commercial-grade iron and aluminum co-products. The process utilizes more than 95% of input ash and achieves efficient heavy metal separation, making output quality independent of ash source. Aqua2N removes ammonium nitrogen from sludge liquor at 95% efficiency, producing RevoPure™ ammonium sulphate that meets European Fertiliser Product Regulations and matches conventional product agronomic performance, all while eliminating N₂O emissions and reducing plant-level nitrous oxide output by 15–30%. Ash2Salt extracts commercial-grade potassium chloride, sodium chloride, calcium chloride, and ammonium sulfate from high-chloride municipal waste incineration fly ash, converting hazardous waste into marketable chemicals while leaving a residue that can be landfilled without special exemption. EasyMining is constructing the world’s first full-scale Ash2Phos plant in Schkopau, Germany (30,000 tonnes ash/year, starting 2027), with a second facility planned for Helsingborg, Sweden by 2029. Aqua2N is offered as a turnkey modular plant with on-site trial options.
