Dorstener Wire Tech Inc. & Porous Metal Filter Inc
About
Dorstener Wire Tech (DWT), headquartered in Spring, Texas, is the North American filtration arm of the Germany-based Dorstener Drahtwerke Group with manufacturing facilities across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. The company produces woven wire cloth from 2 to 4,000 micron in plain, twilled, Dutch, and reverse Dutch weaves, alongside welded wire mesh with openings from 0.020 to 0.250 inches. The SinterPore brand offers diffusion-bonded sintered wire cloth laminates in sheets up to 48 by 60 inches, incorporating metal fibers and perforated plate in single or multi-layer constructions that can be pleated for high-flow applications. Through its Porous Metal Filters subsidiary located north of Houston, DWT manufactures sintered porous metal filtration elements for high-temperature, high-pressure, and corrosive service conditions. The filtration product line includes stainless steel bag filters, cartridge filters, dust collection cartridges, polymer and extruder screens, sand control filters, and Micro-Mesh micronic filters, all available in 304/316 stainless steel and high-nickel alloys. DWT maintains ISO certification and manufactures to ASTM and DIN specifications. In-house fabrication services cover slitting, shearing, laser cutting, TIG and plasma welding, punching and forming, calendering, custom weaving, annealing and heat treating, and the Accupore mesh analysis inspection service. Markets served include oil and gas, polymer processing, water treatment, ballast water, food and beverage, chemical processing, and green hydrogen.
