DOGUS VANA (DVD Valves), founded in 1988 and headquartered in Izmir, Turkey, operates a 20,000 square meter manufacturing facility producing approximately 250 tonnes of valves monthly across sizes DN25 through DN2600 and pressure ratings PN10 through PN63. The company manufactures gate valves in metal seated, resilient seated, and rising stem configurations for drip-tight shutoff, butterfly valves, check valves, and a distinctive line of underground air valves with stainless steel sleeves that can be buried directly without requiring valve chambers — eliminating costly chamber construction. Hydraulic control valves cover pressure reducing, sustaining, altitude, and flow regulation functions. Needle (plunger) valves provide precision flow metering, while strainers, irrigation hydrants, fire hydrants, and pre-paid ultrasonic water meters round out the product range — the latter operating in particle-laden water and never reading air. DVD operates an R&D center recognized by Turkey's Ministry of Science, holding over 10 patents with in-house CFD analysis, structural analysis, and casting simulation capabilities. Their laboratory performs type testing, cavitation measurement, Kv measurement, and air capacity testing. Certifications include ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, WRAS, CE, EAC, and MID. The company exports to over 50 countries and founded a technical high school in 2015 to train valve industry specialists.
