Founded in 1976 in Missoula, Montana, Diversified Plastics, Inc. (DPI) is a custom plastics engineering and manufacturing company marking its 50th year in 2026. DPI's signature capability is injection molding of UHMW (Ultra-High Molecular Weight) polyethylene, a process few manufacturers offer, validated by independent third-party lab testing. The company operates six core manufacturing processes: injection molding (including overmolding of steel components), CNC machining, cast urethane fabrication, thermoforming and vacuum forming, plastics welding, and its proprietary MultiFab Hybrid Design process that combines fabrication, machining, injection molding, and urethane casting into single complex assemblies. The company is a long-term supplier to Ovivo, a major water treatment equipment manufacturer, with documented project experience at the Deer Island wastewater treatment facility. DPI recently joined The Rubber Group to expand complementary manufacturing capabilities and is scaling its campus to over 60,000 square feet with four 80,000-pound silos for increased production capacity.
