dhp technology AG of Zizers, in the Swiss canton of Graubuenden, manufactures and installs HELIOFLEX, a retractable folding solar roof for surfaces that must remain usable underneath - wastewater treatment basins, car parks, logistics yards, and motorway rest areas. Plastic photovoltaic modules ride on rust-free steel running gear beneath a galvanized frame, retracting or deploying as weather and operations dictate. The company carries projects from planning through manufacture at its own Zizers works to installation and after-sales support, and holds ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certificates. Reference plants include ARA Chur, the first system, commissioned in 2017/18; ARA Thunersee, the largest movable folding solar roof built to date; ARA Davos, where 252 kWp meets a quarter of plant electricity demand; and a first German site at Neuwied. Energy management software is developed with partners Schneider Electric and Baffy.
