Datong Heneng Activated CarbonCo., Ltd.
About
Datong Heneng Activated Carbon Co., Ltd. (HNAC) operates as a coal-based activated carbon manufacturer in Datong City, Shanxi Province, China — the center of the country's coal industry. Established in 2002 and in commercial production since 2003, HNAC runs eight SLEP 800 activation furnaces producing 25,000 metric tons annually across five equally split product categories: ordinary crushed activated carbon, acid-washed activated carbon, pressed and reagglomerated activated carbon, powdered activated carbon, and filter-element activated carbon. Their catalog spans over 100 individual types organized into ten series covering desulfurization, decolorization, water purification, air purification, catalyst carrier, and solvent recovery applications. Key water treatment grades include coal-based granular activated carbon with iodine values of 900+ mg/g and strength ratings of 93% minimum, and powdered activated carbon in three specification tiers (iodine values 900, 950, and 1000 mg/g) available in 100, 200, and 325 mesh sizes. The manufacturing plant includes two carbonizing furnaces, one briquetting and pressing production line, five sieving and processing lines, two acid and alkali washing deep-processing lines, and four fluidized bed dryers. HNAC primarily exports to Japan, South Korea, Europe, and the United States.
