For motor control in treatment plants, Danfoss offers the iC7-Aqua variable frequency drive for optimizing pump, blower, mixer, and dewatering equipment efficiency. Pressure sensors provide accurate level measurement in water storage tanks, and solenoid valves serve leak detection functions in building water systems. Danfoss targets five water-sector segments: desalination (SWRO for potable water), brine mining (lithium, magnesium, salt extraction), wastewater treatment (energy optimization and ZLD), water supply networks (pressure management for loss reduction), and irrigation (energy-efficient pumping).
