CT2MC
About
CT2MC is an independent French engineering company founded in 2012 by Olivier Le Meaux and headquartered at the Savoie Technolac campus in Le Bourget du Lac, France. ISO 9001:2015 certified by LRQA, CT2MC designs and manufactures aquatic inspection robots and composite material products for the water and environmental sectors, serving over 100 clients internationally including major groups such as Suez and EDF. The company operates across three business poles: Composites (development and fabrication of composite products, systems, and processes), Robotics (design and manufacture of inspection drones), and Interventions (inspection services, drone rental, and training). CT2MC's core product lines include three families of aquatic drones. The CAN'EAU range comprises floating and terrestrial robots for confined-space pipe and tank inspection, equipped with 360-degree cameras, rotating sonar, LiDAR, photogrammetry, UWB positioning, and gas detection sensors. The SPYBOAT range uses aerial propulsion for calm-water and river and lake surface inspection, available in three sizes — the compact DUCK for confined spaces, the mid-size GOOSE with waypoint navigation, and the large SWAN with broad hardware integration options. The INN'EAU range employs aquatic propulsion for high-current environments such as active dams, carrying scientific echosounders and ADCP current measurement sensors. An optional sterile over-coque (protective shell) ensures zero contamination between the drone and inspected environments. CT2MC also develops the Photogrammetric Backpack for manual inspection of large-diameter pipelines, and produces custom composite components using bio-sourced materials. All drones produce GIS-integrated 3D models, georeferenced XYZ trajectory files, and sediment profiles for water infrastructure asset management.
