Cretex Specialty Products, based in Waukesha, Wisconsin and part of Cretex Companies, has specialized in sewer inflow and infiltration prevention since 1983. The company's flagship PRO-RING manhole adjustment ring system replaces concrete grade rings with expanded polypropylene (EPP) — the same engineered polymer used in automotive applications since the 1980s — delivering a product that is 95 percent lighter than concrete, rated for a 100-year design life, PFAS-free, and AASHTO HS-25 load rated. PRO-RING is available in round configurations from 34 to 46 inches, plus square (24-inch and 30-inch) and rectangular (36x24, 30x24, 24x20) profiles, each in flat, grade, and angle styles, and has received DOT approval in over 20 states plus Ontario, Canada, with BABA federal certification. The X-85 external chimney seal and LSS internal chimney seal address manhole chimney infiltration from opposite sides of the structure. Internal Joint Seals close pipe joint leaks from within the pipe, while External Cretex Wraps provide external joint sealing. Manhole lid sealing products round out the I&I prevention line. M-1 Sealant and Rapid Set Adhesive and Sealant serve as companion installation products.
