About
Cornell Pump Company, founded in 1946 and headquartered in Clackamas, Oregon, manufactures a comprehensive range of centrifugal pumps for municipal water and wastewater, industrial, agricultural, mining, food processing, and oil and gas applications. Assembled at facilities in Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington, all Cornell pumps are designed in the USA. The product line spans clear liquid pumps for general transfer, self-priming pumps for suction-lift installations, submersible pumps for wet-well applications, solids handling pumps for raw sewage and sludge, cutter pumps for shredding solids in wastewater, and slurry pumps for abrasive mining and industrial slurries. The Hydro Turbine line recovers energy from high-head flows. The Z-Series addresses specialized industrial applications, while the Hybrid series combines features from multiple pump types. Cornell also offers hot oil pumps for thermal fluid systems, refrigeration pumps for industrial cooling, food process pumps meeting sanitary standards, and immersible pumps for flooded-motor installations. The company holds NSF/ANSI 61 certification for drinking water components. Recent innovations include the Co-Pilot and Pulse IoT monitoring ecosystem and RPM2 software integration for predictive maintenance and SCADA connectivity. Cornell is ISO certified and provides selection tools including Pump Flo and an e-catalog for rapid specification.
