Christ Water Technology
About
Christ Water Technology Group, headquartered in Mondsee, Austria (holding) with operational base Christ AG in Memmingen, Germany, manufactures water treatment systems across pharmaceutical ultrapure water and vehicle wash water recycling applications. Now operating under the BWT (Best Water Technology) umbrella, the pharmaceutical water division markets as BWT Pharma while vehicle wash systems remain under Christ AG. The SEPTRONLine series provides compact electrodeionization (EDI) combined with reverse osmosis, generating Purified Water compliant with Ph. Eur. and USP standards at 150 through 2,400 liters per hour. The VAL variant targets pharmaceutical-grade PW with dead-leg-free connection technology, while the PRO variant serves industrial ultrapure water applications including solar cell production and PCB rinsing. The ULTRASTIL ultrafiltration system uses 100 to 200 kD cut-off membranes achieving SDI15 below 3 with high retention of particles, germs, bacteria, and viruses, producing up to 8 cubic meters per hour of filtrate with up to 95 percent water yield. For vehicle wash water recycling, the FONTIS line uses physical quartz-gravel filtration with recovery rates up to 90 percent, spanning models from FONTIS-S at 3,000 liters per hour through FONTIS-XL at 40,000 liters per hour, all carrying DIBt Berlin building approval. The BIOCLEAR system applies bioreactor technology for continuous vehicle wash water purification with internet-based remote monitoring and automatic salt content control. Pharmaceutical systems comply with cGMP, GAMP, and ISPE guidelines with Siemens PLC controllers and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance options.
