ChartWater
About
ChartWater, LLC, a subsidiary of Chart Industries (NYSE: GTLS), was formed from the merger of AdEdge Water Technologies and BlueInGreen, also incorporating Howden aeration technologies. With over 8,100 installations across 85 countries, ChartWater designs and manufactures engineered water treatment systems spanning dissolved gas injection, biological treatment, contaminant removal, and aeration. The SDOX supersaturated dissolved oxygen system delivers over 10,000 lbs of oxygen per day per unit, reducing energy consumption by up to 75% compared to conventional aeration for BOD reduction, odor and corrosion control, and environmental remediation, with the SDOX-CS variant targeting collection system hydrogen sulfide. CDOX provides CO2-based pH control with up to 40% operational cost savings, while StreamLine CO2 offers lower-capital pH adjustment. The HyDOz system delivers supersaturated dissolved ozone for advanced oxidation. The biottta process provides sustainable biological nitrate removal without the waste streams of ion exchange or reverse osmosis. The AdEdge division supplies arsenic removal via Bayoxide E33 media and AD26 oxidation/filtration, manganese removal with AD26L and ADGS+ media, radium removal via AD88/AD88-S resin, uranium removal via AD92 resin, and four PFAS treatment approaches including GAC, ion exchange, FLUORO-SORB media, and high-recovery flow reversal reverse osmosis. The aeration division manufactures HV-TURBO and TURBLEX centrifugal turbo compressors (5,000 to over 80,000 m³/hr) and Spencer Power Mizer multistage blowers. WaterPOD containerized treatment systems and H2Zero backwash recycle systems (99.7%+ water recovery) round out the product line.
