CB&I, owned by a consortium of financial investors led by Mason Capital Management, is a global provider of integrated storage and asset-management solutions organized into two business units: Storage Solutions and Asset Solutions. In the water sector, CB&I has constructed more than 25,000 elevated water storage tanks over a century of operations. Signature products include the Waterspheroid elevated tank, Hydropillar elevated tank, composite elevated tanks, reservoirs, and standpipes. For water treatment, CB&I offers the ClariCone solids contact clarifier, designed for economical operation and lower maintenance than conventional clarifiers, alongside decelerating Flo-Filters, head tanks, and Helicarb systems supporting aeration, clarification, disinfection, metals removal, softening, and filtration processes. On the wastewater side, the ClariCone serves dual duty, while CB&I's anaerobic digestion portfolio includes egg-shaped digesters (ESD), Class A and Class B biosolids processing systems, gas holders and biogas storage, RNG storage, and sludge storage tanks. The company has completed over 40 digester projects totaling nearly 200 million gallons of capacity across North America. CB&I delivers turnkey EPC services from front-end engineering through construction and startup, with in-house welding, insulation, and construction capabilities. Beyond water, the company serves oil and gas, LNG, power and nuclear, chemical, agriculture, and stored energy markets. CB&I acquired the Petrofac Asset Solutions business in April 2026 and operates a fabrication facility in Thailand.
