Caterpillar Electric Power, a division of Caterpillar Inc. based in Peoria, Illinois, manufactures diesel and natural gas generator sets for standby, prime, and continuous power applications. The diesel generator lineup includes models from compact units through the 3512 (1,250 ekW standby, V-12, 3,161 in³ displacement) and 3512B (1,500 ekW standby, V-12, 3,574 in³ displacement, ADEM A3 electronic governor), spanning voltage ranges from 380 V to 13,800 V.
