Calgon Carbon Corporation, a Kuraray Group subsidiary headquartered in the United States, is the world's largest manufacturer of granular activated carbon with roughly 80 years of expertise spanning over 700 distinct market applications. The company's flagship FILTRASORB line comprises 12 reagglomerated coal-based GAC products (FILTRASORB 100, 200, 200 AWD LF, 200M, 300, 300M, 400, 400M, 600, 816, 816M, and 820), all manufactured domestically and NSF/ANSI 61 certified, offering high-density formulations with uniform pore activation throughout each granule for durability across repeated backwashing, hydraulic transport, and reactivation cycles.
