BioSafe Systems, founded in 1998 by the Larose family and headquartered in East Hartford, Connecticut, is one of the largest manufacturers of peroxyacetic acid (PAA) products in North America and a pioneer in sustainable chemistry for water treatment, agriculture, and sanitation. The company produces PAA-based disinfection, sanitization, and biocontrol products across seven market segments: municipal water, agriculture, greenhouse and nursery, lake and pond, food safety, turf and landscape, and cannabis. Their municipal water line includes SaniDate 16.0 WWT for wastewater disinfection, GC Liquid and GCPRO Oxidizer Treatments for hydrogen sulfide and odor control, and SaniDate WTO for organic water treatment as a chlorine alternative. Agricultural products span the OxiDate, ZeroTol, and TerraClean families for bacterial, fungal, and algal pathogen control, alongside AzaGuard insect growth regulator, BT NOW biological insecticide, and Guarda botanical fungicide with thyme oil active ingredient. The lake and pond division offers GreenClean algaecides, Calcis lime supplements, and beneficial bacteria products. BioSafe operates four PAA manufacturing facilities in Coldwater, Michigan; Cairo, Georgia; Sparks, Nevada; and Yuma, Arizona, with warehouses in Fresno, California, and Spokane, Washington. The company holds ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications and maintains a dedicated engineering department that designs and builds custom chemical dosing equipment. All products are manufactured in the United States.
