Bänninger Kunststoff-Produkte GmbH is an owner-managed, family-owned German manufacturer based in Reiskirchen with a secondary production facility in Staßfurt. The company has operated for over 35 years producing plastic pipe systems entirely manufactured in Germany. Bänninger's product portfolio centers on six thermoplastic piping lines: PVC-U fittings for general liquid media transport; PE100 fittings for gas and water supply; PP-R pipes and fittings for drinking water distribution; PP-RCT pipes and fittings offering higher pressure ratings through modified crystallinity and temperature resistance; PP-CFR FIRETEC fire extinguishing pipe systems made from alpha-nucleated polypropylene with flame-retardant additives; and BLACKTECplus pressure pipes featuring a glass-fiber-reinforced PE100 intermediate layer that significantly reduces longitudinal expansion compared to standard PE pipes. BLACKTECplus received DINplus certification via DIN CERTCO in April 2022, marking the first such certification for PE pressure pipes with short-fiber-reinforced PE intermediate layers. The company covers pipe diameters from 8 mm to 1000 mm across its product range. Manufacturing utilizes injection molding and extrusion processes, with a new 225-ton injection molding machine installed in 2023 to optimize energy consumption and delivery times. Bänninger serves building services (potable water, heating, cooling), industrial and chemical plants, energy systems, fire suppression, and civil engineering markets.
