Atlantium Technologies, founded in 2003 and headquartered in Israel, develops and manufactures Hydro-Optic Disinfection (HOD) UV water treatment systems, holding more than 60 patents on its proprietary technology platform. The company has deployed over 5,200 installations worldwide, including numerous tier-one industrial clients. The HOD UV platform uses optimized hydraulic design to eliminate pathogen bypass paths, combined with unique sensors that provide continuous, real-time monitoring of UV transmittance levels and lamp operational status. The HOD UV OC Series is designed for open-channel wastewater treatment, featuring an optimized flow adjustment structure that ensures uniform UV exposure and continuous UVT level monitoring for reliable disinfection performance under varying influent conditions. Atlantium Marine, a dedicated subsidiary, produces the Purestream Ballast Water Management System, which has completed IMO and USCG Type Approval testing with Lloyds Register as independent laboratory. The company serves six primary markets: aquaculture, where systems protect biosecurity in breeding facilities including the world's first lumpfish breeding plant in Norway; biopharmaceutical manufacturing; maritime ballast water; food and beverage processing, including simple syrup disinfection; industrial applications such as boiler make-up water dechlorination at power stations and invasive mussel control at hydroelectric plants; and municipal wastewater treatment. The company also offers membrane protection for reverse osmosis systems and pre-treatment for advanced purification processes.
