ASE Technik AG is a Swiss plant engineering and construction company based in Hochsdorf that has specialized in process technology for raw materials handling since 1985. The company designs, engineers, and builds custom processing plants for the pit and quarry industry and the recycling sector, with a focus on circular economy solutions and digitalization. ASE Technik offers four core plant categories: mineral processing plants for stone, gravel, and earth (Aufbereitungsanlagen Steine and Erden), recycling plants for construction and demolition waste, conveyor and material handling systems (Foerderanlagen), and pilot-scale plants for testing and process validation. Their service portfolio spans the full project lifecycle from consulting and general planning through 3D engineering design, project management, site supervision, manufacturing of conveyor technology and steel structures, and assembly and disassembly. In October 2023, ASE Technik was acquired by AIK Technik AG, combining two technology leaders in waste treatment, bulk materials, and recycling plant construction. Both companies continue operating at their existing locations under their traditional names, retaining a combined workforce of 70 employees. ASE Technik's main markets are Switzerland, Germany, and Austria. The company also applies its process engineering expertise to startup collaborations, helping innovative young companies develop and scale pilot plants from concept through commissioning. Notable reference projects include processing plants for Kibag Kies Birr and Eberhard Weiacher Kies AG, a recycling facility for Gasser AG, and a pilot installation for Toggenburger Marthalen.
