ARMAS SU ARMATURLERI SAN. VE TIC.A.S.
About
ARMAS Su Armatürleri, based in Selçuklu, Konya, Turkey, manufactures hydraulic control valves and water equipment across five product divisions. The 700 Series features globe-style hydraulic control valve bodies engineered for high flow rates with minimum pressure loss and cavitation resistance, while the 500 Series provides cost-effective irrigation valves with excellent modulation even at low flow rates. The irrigation division offers manual and solenoid control valves, pressure reducing valves (including the 87PR model, the first and only Turkish PRV with WRAS and NSF Reg4 S3 approval, available in sizes 2" through 12" at maximum 16 bar), pressure sustaining and relief valves, level control, flow control, filter backwash, pump stations, and air release valves. The water distribution division covers pressure reducing, sustaining, level control, surge anticipation, flow control, air release, pump stations, check, and solenoid control valves. The fire protection division produces UL/FM approved products including sprinkler valves, wet alarm valves (FCV series), dry alarm valves, monitored butterfly valves, flow switches, test and drain valves (1"–2", rated to 300 PSI with K5.6 and K8 options), OS&Y gate valves, pressure reducing/relief, pre-action, deluge, monitor, fire hydrants, and check valves. The filtration division manufactures AutoFlush self-cleaning screen and disc filters, manual disc filters, gravel filters, hydrocyclones, suction filters, and fertilizer tanks. The mechanical valves division supplies globe, gate, air release, check, flanged valves, strainers, and dismantling pieces. ARMAS has supplied projects including the Marmaray tunnel, Sabiha Gökçen Airport, Vodafone Park, and Abu Dhabi Presidential Palace, exporting to over 50 countries.
Key Products
Automatically maintain downstream pressure at a set point regardless of upstream pressure fluctuations, WRAS/NSF approved for potable water (87PR model, sizes 2"-12").
Maintain minimum upstream pressure or relieve excess pressure in water distribution and irrigation networks to protect system integrity.
Automatically control water levels in tanks, reservoirs, and elevated storage by opening and closing based on float or electrode signals.
Protect pipelines from damaging water hammer and pressure surges by anticipating and relieving transient pressure waves in water distribution systems.
Maintain constant flow rate regardless of pressure variations, ensuring consistent water delivery in distribution and irrigation networks.
Electrically operated on/off or modulating valves for remote or automated control of water flow in irrigation, distribution, and industrial systems.
Control the backwash cycle in automatic filtration systems, directing flow to reverse-clean filter media and restore filtration capacity.
Automatically release trapped air from pressurized pipelines and admit air during pipeline draining to prevent vacuum formation and air binding.
Pre-assembled pumping systems with integrated valves and controls for boosting water pressure in distribution, irrigation, and fire protection networks.
Prevent reverse flow in pipelines, protecting pumps and equipment from backflow damage in water and wastewater systems.
UL and FM approved wet alarm, dry alarm, deluge, pre-action, sprinkler, test and drain, and fire hydrant valves for fire suppression systems.
Self-cleaning automatic screen filters that continuously filter irrigation and process water while backwashing without interrupting flow.
Self-cleaning disc filters providing fine filtration for irrigation and industrial water, with automatic backwash capability for uninterrupted operation.
Multi-media depth filters using graded gravel layers for removing suspended solids from irrigation and process water supplies.
Centrifugal separation devices that remove sand and heavy suspended particles from water before filtration or distribution.
Linear motion shut-off valves for isolating flow in water distribution and irrigation pipelines, available in flanged configurations.
Throttling and shut-off valves with globe-style bodies for precise flow regulation in water distribution, irrigation, and fire protection systems.
In-line filtration devices that capture debris and suspended particles to protect downstream valves and equipment in piping systems.
