About

AcuFlow (formerly AquFlow, originally HydroFlo) has manufactured hydraulically actuated diaphragm metering pumps and chemical dosing systems in Irvine, California since 1972. Founded by John P. Klembeth, a former design engineer at BIF and Milton Roy, the company rebranded from AquFlow to AcuFlow in 2024 to reduce marketplace confusion. All pumps comply with API 675 standards with plus or minus one percent metering accuracy. The product line spans five series: the S900 for low-flow injection from 0.01 to 6.5 GPH at 3,000 PSI, the S1000 up to 123 GPH simplex at 3,000 PSI with unibody construction, the S2000 up to 180 GPH at 1,800 PSI with enclosed diaphragm design, the S3000 up to 920 GPH with corrosion-resistant construction and balanced diaphragm, and the S4000 up to 3,500 GPH duplex with less than one percent flow variation. Liquid end materials include 316SS, Alloy 20, Hastelloy C, PVC, PVDF, and PTFE. The Cheminjector system program offers five tiers from basic skid assemblies through fully automated systems with SCADA-compatible 4-20mA input, flowmeter feedback loops, and remote internet control. Accessory products include back pressure valves, safety relief valves, calibration columns, pulsation dampeners, and the IVAX verification and control system. Water and wastewater applications include dosing sodium hypochlorite, lime slurries, ferric chloride, alum, caustic soda, and polymers.

Key Products

S900 Chemical Injection Pump

Lowest-flow hydraulically actuated diaphragm metering pump on the market at 0.01-6.5 GPH and 3,000 PSI, ideal for oil and gas, pharmaceutical, and precise chemical dosing applications

S1000 Diaphragm Metering Pump

Most popular metering pump line up to 62 GPH simplex (123 GPH duplex) at 3,000 PSI with unibody design and ruggedized construction for difficult chemicals

S2000 Chemical Dosing Pump

Enclosed diaphragm design metering pump up to 180 GPH at 1,800 PSI offering low maintenance operation for mid-range dosing applications

S3000 Chemical Metering Pump

High-capacity metering pump up to 920 GPH with corrosion-resistant materials for large-scale water and wastewater treatment dosing

S4000 Chemical Dosing Pump

Heavy-duty duplex metering pump up to 3,500 GPH with less than 1% flow variation and hydraulically balanced diaphragm for maximum capacity applications

Cheminjector Basic Assembly

Skid-mounted dosing system with pump, motor, back pressure valve, relief valve, valves, and piping for straightforward chemical injection applications

Cheminjector Standard System

Dosing system adding calibration column, inlet strainer, pressure gauge, and control panel to the basic assembly
