AqueoUS Vets
About
AqueoUS Vets (AV) is a water treatment systems manufacturer founded in 2015 and backed by Bain Capital Double Impact, focused on removing PFAS and other harmful contaminants from the US water supply. The company has treated over 812 billion gallons of water and removed more than 2.4 million pounds of contaminants. AV's flagship product is the LowPro ion exchange system, a patented ASME pressure vessel design featuring an external ring underdrain that provides a significant height advantage over conventional vessels, enabling installation in buildings with height restrictions and in cold climates where indoor placement is required. The LowPro system was deployed in a 27-unit installation for Yorba Linda Water District serving 2.5 million Orange County residents. The RemPro system addresses pesticide removal, industrial wastewater treatment, and PFAS contamination remediation, with deployments at organic farming operations, NPDES-permitted sites, US military bases, and industrial facilities. AV also manufactures ASME pressure vessels and filtration equipment with NSF 61 approved epoxy and vinyl ester coatings, supplies granular activated carbon and ion exchange resin media, and provides piloting and media selection services, spent media exchange and disposal, engineering and design support, and field installation crews. The company serves consulting engineers, contractors, water system operators, industrial end-users, and government agencies at the federal, state, and local levels.
