AquaMetrix by Water Analytics
About
AquaMetrix, the sole product line of Water Analytics Inc. headquartered in Andover, Massachusetts, has produced water quality instrumentation for over 50 years. The company traces its lineage to Lisle-Metrix, the Canadian licensee of Great Lakes Instruments differential pH technology, rebranding as AquaMetrix in 1998 and reorganizing as Water Analytics in 2010. AquaMetrix sensors and analyzers are purpose-built for the harshest wastewater environments where competing instruments fail, anchored by a proprietary differential electrode technology that eliminates ground loop errors and allows indefinite reference electrode rejuvenation rather than replacement. The sensor portfolio includes 60-Series differential pH and ORP probes (the established standard for dirty aeration basins and high-strength industrial wastewater), AM Series stainless-steel contacting conductivity sensors spanning ultra-pure water to brine concentrations, toroidal conductivity sensors for fouling and corrosive process streams, Clark-cell and optical dissolved oxygen sensors, the AM-TBR turbidity sensor, AM-FOG fats/oils/grease level sensor for interceptor monitoring, chlorine analyzers, and level measurement devices. Controllers comprise the 2300 web-enabled multi-parameter unit with PLC-level functionality (four analog inputs, three flow sensor inputs, data logging, four relays, email alerts), the 2250 single-input controller, the Shark controller/transmitter, and Smart TX 4-20mA sensor-transmitter combinations. AquaMetrix serves municipal wastewater (US EPA 40 CFR compliance), industrial wastewater, food and beverage, aquaculture RAS, and HVAC cooling tower markets through a global stocking distributor network.
Key Products
Differential electrode pH and ORP sensors that last years instead of months, eliminating ground loop errors and allowing indefinite reference electrode rejuvenation for harsh wastewater environments.
Rugged stainless-steel contacting conductivity sensors covering the widest measurement range on the market, from ultra-pure water to brine concentrations.
Non-contact toroidal conductivity sensors for measuring conductivity in highly fouling or corrosive process environments without electrode degradation.
Membrane-based dissolved oxygen sensors proven for reliable DO measurement in dirty aeration basins with yearly membrane replacement intervals.
Luminescence-based dissolved oxygen sensors for maintenance-free DO measurement in wastewater and aquaculture applications.
Turbidity measurement sensor for monitoring suspended solids concentration in wastewater treatment and environmental monitoring.
Fats, oils, and grease (FOG) layer thickness measurement sensor for monitoring grease interceptor levels and preventing sewer overflow events.
Free chlorine measurement sensors for monitoring disinfection levels in drinking water, cooling towers, and wastewater effluent compliance.
Level measurement sensors for monitoring liquid levels in tanks, basins, and process vessels in water and wastewater treatment.
