Aqualitec - EMO
About
Aqualitec, based in Los Angeles, California, designs and manufactures screening, sludge handling, and dissolved air flotation equipment for municipal wastewater treatment plants, with over 11,000 installations across 95 countries and more than 150 US installations since entering the American market in 2009. The screening product line includes the Screentec vertical bar screen designed with no moving parts below grade level for retrofit installations, the Raketec multiple rake bar screen for high-flow headworks, the Drumtec rotary drum screen, the Spiraltec screw screen, the Compactec washer compactor that conveys, washes, and dewaters screenings, and the Washtec wash press for organic matter removal. The Grittec inclined grit classifier separates and dewaters sand and grit from screened wastewater. Sludge handling equipment spans the Omega belt filter press, Omega gravity belt thickener, a 3-belt filter press combining thickening and dewatering in a single unit, decanter centrifuges, and screw presses for biosolids management. DAF systems are offered in four configurations: the Altec, Deltec, Gamtec, and Sigtec dissolved air flotation units targeting different flow capacities. Aqualitec equipment targets headworks, pump stations, lift stations, wet wells, and manholes in municipal wastewater applications, with cited results including minimal maintenance costs and significant solids reduction at installations in California and Arizona.
