Aquaconsult Anlagenbau GmbH is an Austrian manufacturer specializing in fine-bubble aeration systems for municipal and industrial wastewater treatment. Founded in Austria and manufacturing exclusively at its domestic facility under ISO 9001 certification, the company's sole product line is the AEROSTRIP strip diffuser — a flat, low-profile fine-bubble aerator that has been in continuous service since 1995 with over 2,500 installations across more than 60 countries. The AEROSTRIP is offered in three configurations: Type T, a strip diffuser with a high-alloy stainless steel body and replaceable polyurethane membrane delivering up to 60 percent standard oxygen transfer efficiency; Type Q, a variant optimized for specific airflow and mixing requirements; and Module, a panel-style assembly combining three or five strip diffusers in a 1-meter-wide frame available in 2 to 4 meter lengths, offered in PVC or stainless steel construction. AEROSTRIP diffusers operate across a wide airflow range of 5 to 150 Nm3/h per square meter, with modules handling 5 to 80 Nm3/h in continuous operation. The polyurethane membrane provides a service life of up to 20 years and produces finer bubbles than conventional EPDM or silicone membranes, yielding specific aeration efficiency of 4 to 6 kg O2 per kWh. Certified by the Austrian Water Technology Quality Association, AEROSTRIP diffusers are compatible with activated sludge, SBR, MBR, IFAS, MBBR, Nereda granular sludge, and DEMON deammonification processes.
