Applied Analytics Inc.
About
Founded in 1994 and headquartered in the United States, Applied Analytics Inc. (AAI) manufactures industrial process analysis instruments built on dispersive UV-Vis-NIR absorbance spectroscopy. All AAI systems are produced domestically. The company’s flagship OMA Series process analyzers — the wall-mounted OMA-300 (ATEX/Class I Div 1/2 certified), the portable OMA-206P, and the rackmount OMA-406R — continuously measure high-resolution absorbance spectra from liquid or gas streams, detecting up to five chemical species simultaneously with 1–5 second response times using pulsed xenon lamps with roughly five-year lifespans. Specialized analyzers extend the portfolio: the TLG-837 tail gas analyzer with patented DEMISTER sampling probe for H₂S and SO₂ measurement in sulfur recovery, the OiW-200 oil-in-water analyzer, the MCP-200 infrared photometer, the APG-710 hydrogen analyzer, the O2A-100 paramagnetic oxygen analyzer, and the TDL-406 rackmount tunable diode laser gas analyzer. Supporting equipment includes the MIX-2000 digital gas mixer and SPA-525 sampling system. The proprietary ECLIPSE software platform delivers real-time concentration readouts, spectral visualization, and configurable output protocols (4–20 mA, Modbus TCP/IP, HART, Profibus). AAI holds ATEX, IECEx, EAC, PESO, and KTL certifications and serves oil refining, sulfur recovery, natural gas, environmental monitoring, pulp and paper, power generation, chemical processing, food and beverage, semiconductor, and pharmaceutical industries.
