Angus Flexible Pipelines
About
Angus Flexible Pipelines, founded in 1970 as a division of Angus Fire, is a UK-based manufacturer of layflat hose systems for fluid transfer across industrial, municipal, and emergency applications. Operating from its headquarters in High Bentham, Lancashire, with Technical Centres of Excellence in the UK and Australia, the company holds ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications and tests every meter of hose before shipment. The product range centers on five primary lines: Wellmaster flexible rising mains for deep groundwater abstraction, including the Wellmaster 400 model; Super Aquaduct for potable water delivery; Armourline industrial water supply hose for drill water supply, mine de-watering, wastewater transfer, and industrial water relay; Chemicoil for fuel and chemical delivery, including the Chemicoil 1200 for long-distance high-pressure transfer; and irrigation hose for travelling irrigators, a product category the company pioneered in the 1970s. Angus Flexible Pipelines also provides HoseCalc selection software and installation support services. The layflat hose technology offers advantages over rigid pipe including faster deployment, easier storage and transport, lower operating costs, longer service life, and simplified maintenance. Sectors served include mining, emergency response, petrochemical, ship-to-shore, military, drinking water, and irrigation and agriculture.
