Amex Sanivar GmbH
About
Amex Sanivar GmbH, established in 1975 and headquartered in Düsseldorf with additional operations in Duisburg and a holding company in Lucerne, Switzerland, is a German manufacturer specializing in trenchless pipeline rehabilitation technology. All products are developed and manufactured in-house at their German facilities, serving customers across approximately 50 countries with roughly 100 kilometers of pipe rehabilitated annually. The company operates through three product divisions. The Amex 10 seal systems provide localized mechanical repair of damaged pipe sections without excavation: the Mono variant uses a single EPDM or NBR rubber sleeve with stainless steel tension bands for point repairs in pipes DN 600 through 6,000, the Vario variant adds a modular locking mechanism for extended damage zones in the same diameter range, and the LEM variant accommodates irregular profiles and diameter transitions from DN 150 to 4,000. The SaniLine CIPP liner division produces woven PET-multifilament tubes with PE or PU coatings, installed via inversion with ambient or pressurized cold curing, covering DN 80 to 800 at operating pressures up to 16 bar and capable of navigating 90-degree bends. For pressure pipe applications, the SaniTube close-fit pull-in liner requires no curing, spans DN 50 to 450 at pressures up to 35 bar, and supports installation lengths up to 3,000 meters. Amex Sanivar holds drinking water approvals from DVGW, KTW, NSF, WRAS, ACS, and SVGW, along with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification.
