About

American Structures, Inc., founded in 1975 by Earl W. Wildenberg, designs and manufactures bolted stainless steel storage tanks for municipal, agricultural, industrial, and commercial applications. Each tank is individually customized using CAD-based design and CNC-punched and rolled stainless steel sheet construction, assembled with specialized stainless steel bolts featuring oversized heads, tooling threads, fins on the bolt neck, and larger washers — sealed watertight without any on-site welding or cutting. Their potable water product line includes reservoirs, standpipes, composite elevated tanks, and clearwell tanks for treated drinking water storage, along with fire protection tanks meeting NFPA and FM standards. For wastewater applications, they offer sludge tanks and aerobic digesters. Additional products include dry storage tanks and silos for grain, sand, cement, and powders; glass-fused-to-steel tanks combining structural steel strength with glass corrosion resistance; and geodesic domes for tank covers. Tanks are expandable and relocatable, and the company offers stainless steel roof systems, relocation and resale services, and standard one-, five-, and ten-year warranties. In over 45 years, the company reports that none of their bolted stainless steel tanks have ever required replacement.
