AlpHa Measurement Solutions, formed in December 2018 through the acquisition of Analytical Sensors and Instruments (ASI) and Aurora Scientific Instruments, is a vertically integrated manufacturer of liquid analytical sensors and instrumentation headquartered in Houston, Texas with a second ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturing facility in Shanghai, China. The company produces over 2 million sensor units annually across more than 20 measurement parameters including pH, ORP, conductivity, ion-selective electrodes (ISE), dissolved oxygen, turbidity, free and total chlorine, chlorophyll a and a+b, blue-green algae (phycocyanin), tryptophan fluorescence, CDOM, PTSA, optical brighteners, PAH oil-in-water, and heavy metals detection via the ANDalyze platform. The Van London sensor brand is distributed through AlpHa. Instrumentation offerings include benchtop and portable meters, process transmitters, analyzers, multiparameter sondes, and custom mechanical assemblies. The Houston facility houses glass lathe and bulb blowing operations, a machine shop, chemistry laboratory, and R&D labs for electrochemical and electronic sensor development, while the Shanghai facility adds plastic and rubber injection molding and custom tool making capabilities. A subsidiary of Enpro (Momenta portfolio), AlpHa serves drinking water, wastewater, environmental monitoring, ballast water, aquaculture, refining, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, and power generation markets worldwide through both OEM partnerships and distributor channels, and offers fractional or turnkey product development services.
