akvola Technologies GmbH is a water technology company headquartered in Berlin, Germany, founded in 2011 to address the challenge of treating hard-to-treat industrial wastewater. Their core technology, akvoFloat, is a proprietary flotation-filtration process that combines microbubble flotation with ceramic flat membrane filtration in a single compact unit. The system removes free, dispersed, and emulsified oils along with suspended solids from challenging industrial waste streams, achieving up to 99 percent removal of TSS, COD, and BOD while consuming less than 1 kWh per cubic meter of treated water.
